Lucyanna Paluk is a twenty-year-old student in her second year at Oxford Brookes University studying Media, Journalism, and Publishing. Her dream job is to become a journalist travelling around the world reporting on crises and international issues to raise awareness and educate the nations.
Lucy is originally from Hertfordshire, but her family moved up north to Doncaster, so she travels between Oxford, Doncaster and Letchworth often. In Hertfordshire, she completed her A Levels which consisted of English Literature, Geography and Fashion where she achieved good results.
Lucy has had various work experience within Journalism. She worked at The Comet Newspaper for a few days in her hometown where she wrote articles and researched stories. She also has a big involvement with a publication called ‘Exist’ which herself and her course mates created. She has written many articles for this that proved to be quite popular.
Lucy loves to travel round the world and exploring new cities and places. She loves blogging, particularly about food and animals, writing for any purpose, cats, coffee and going on scenic walks.
In her spare time, Lucy loves reading both books and magazines and often likes to watch the news to gain a better understanding of the world. She is also very interested in crime and the courts and would to report in criminal cases.
